Introduction
NivAk Technologies respects your privacy and aims to explain clearly how Block Quest handles data.
Block Quest is an Android puzzle game that may include game progress, virtual coins, lives, rewards, rewarded advertisements and optional in-app purchases.
Block Quest does not require you to create a traditional account using your name, email address or password.
Anonymous Player Account
Block Quest uses Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous player account when required.
This anonymous account creates a unique Firebase user identifier, also called a UID. The UID allows Block Quest to associate certain server-side game and purchase information with the correct player.
Anonymous authentication does not require you to provide your name, email address or password to Block Quest.
The anonymous Firebase UID is an identifier used for technical account, security and purchase-verification purposes. It is not intended to identify you by name.
Game and Player Data
Block Quest may store information needed to operate gameplay and player features.
This may include:
- Anonymous Firebase user identifier
- Virtual coin balance
- Lives and reward information
- Mission and reward status
- Game progress
- Game settings and preferences
- Information needed to prevent duplicate rewards
- Information needed to verify in-app purchases
Some game information may be stored locally on your Android device. Certain purchase-related information and coin balances may also be stored using Firebase services.
In-App Purchases
Block Quest may offer optional purchases of virtual game items such as coin packs through Google Play.
Payments made through Google Play are processed by Google's billing system. NivAk Technologies does not receive your full payment card details from Google Play.
To securely validate a purchase and prevent the same purchase from being credited more than once, Block Quest sends purchase information to its Firebase backend.
This information may include:
- Anonymous Firebase UID
- Google Play product identifier
- Google Play purchase token
- Purchase verification status
- Virtual coins granted for the purchase
- Total server-side coin balance
- Technical timestamps or processing information
Purchase information may be stored in Firebase Firestore collections used to track verified purchases and player balances.
Virtual coins, lives and other game rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real-world money unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Advertising and Rewarded Ads
Block Quest uses Google Mobile Ads / Google AdMob to provide advertising, including rewarded ads.
Rewarded ads are optional game interactions where available. A player may choose to watch an advertisement in exchange for an in-game reward such as coins or lives.
Google and its advertising partners may process information required to deliver, measure, secure and, where permitted, personalize advertisements.
Depending on your device, region and consent choices, this may include information such as:
- Device or advertising identifiers
- IP address
- Approximate location derived from technical signals
- Ad impressions and interactions
- Device and app information
- Fraud-prevention and diagnostic information
Where required, consent or privacy choices may be presented before advertising data is used for certain purposes.
Firebase Services
Block Quest uses Google Firebase services to support game functionality, security and purchase verification.
Current Firebase-related functionality includes:
- Firebase Core
- Firebase Authentication
- Firebase App Check
- Firebase Cloud Functions
- Firebase Firestore for purchase and player data
Firebase Authentication may process authentication identifiers and technical information needed to maintain the anonymous account.
Firebase App Check may process app or device attestation information and App Check tokens to help verify that requests originate from a legitimate copy of Block Quest.
Firebase Cloud Functions and Firestore are used to securely verify purchases and maintain related server-side records.
Local Device Storage
Block Quest may store game information locally on your Android device to provide gameplay and preserve progress between sessions.
Local information may include:
- Game progress
- Coin and life information
- Rewards and mission status
- Audio or game preferences
- Other gameplay settings
Clearing Block Quest's app storage or uninstalling the game may remove locally stored information.
Server-side information associated with Firebase Authentication or verified purchases may not be removed merely by uninstalling the app.
Support and Contact Enquiries
If you contact NivAk Technologies by email or through the website, information you voluntarily provide may include:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your support message
- Device or Android version information
- Screenshots or other files you choose to provide
- Purchase information relevant to a support request
This information is used to respond to your enquiry, investigate problems and provide support.
Do not send passwords, complete payment card details or other unnecessary sensitive information when contacting support.
Third-Party Services
Block Quest relies on third-party services that may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
These may include:
- Google Play
- Google Play Billing
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads
- Firebase Authentication
- Firebase App Check
- Firebase Cloud Functions
- Firebase Firestore
NivAk Technologies does not control the independent privacy practices of these third-party services.
Data Security
NivAk Technologies uses reasonable technical measures intended to protect Block Quest and its supporting services.
Measures used by the app may include Firebase Authentication, Firebase App Check, server-side purchase verification and secured communication with Firebase services.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data Retention
Local game data generally remains on the device until it is deleted by the user, cleared by Android or removed when the app is uninstalled.
Anonymous Firebase Authentication information, server-side player information and purchase-verification records may be retained while reasonably necessary to operate the game, preserve purchase integrity, prevent duplicate credits, detect fraud, respond to disputes and comply with legal obligations.
Some records may need to be retained after a deletion request when retention is required for security, fraud prevention, transaction records or applicable law.
Delete Your Data
You may remove local Block Quest information by clearing the app's storage in Android or uninstalling the app.
Because Block Quest may also maintain an anonymous Firebase account and server-side purchase information, uninstalling the application does not necessarily delete all server-side records.
Requests concerning server-side Block Quest data may be submitted through the Block Quest Data Deletion page or by contacting NivAk Technologies.
We may need information reasonably necessary to identify the anonymous account or purchase records connected to the request.
Children's Privacy
Block Quest is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect a child's name, email address or other directly entered personal profile information.
Advertising, purchase availability and privacy treatment may vary depending on age, region, Google Play settings and applicable legal requirements.
Parents or guardians who believe information relating to a child has been processed inappropriately may contact NivAk Technologies for review.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Block Quest features, advertising, purchases, Firebase services, data practices or legal requirements change.
Updated information will be published on this page and the Last updated date will be revised.
