Overview
Block Quest stores some gameplay information locally on your Android device and may also store limited information using Firebase services.
Block Quest uses anonymous Firebase Authentication. This means the game may create a unique Firebase UID without requiring your name, email address or password.
Server-side information may include data needed for purchase verification and virtual coin management.
Delete Local Game Data
You can remove locally stored Block Quest data directly through Android.
Android menu names may differ slightly depending on your device manufacturer and Android version.
- Open Android Settings.
- Open Apps or Applications.
- Select Block Quest.
- Open Storage or Storage & cache.
- Select Clear storage or Clear data.
You may also uninstall Block Quest to remove app data stored locally by the application.
Local data may include items such as:
- Game progress
- Local coin and life information
- Mission and reward progress
- Game settings
- Audio preferences
- Other locally stored gameplay information
Clearing app storage or uninstalling Block Quest does not necessarily remove Firebase Authentication or server-side purchase records.
Server-Side Block Quest Data
Block Quest uses Firebase services for anonymous authentication and secure in-app purchase verification.
Server-side data may include:
- Anonymous Firebase user identifier (UID)
- Player record associated with that UID
- Server-side virtual coin balance
- Google Play product identifier
- Google Play purchase token
- Purchase verification status
- Virtual coins credited for a purchase
- Technical timestamps or processing information
Purchase verification records are used to help prevent duplicate purchase credits, fraudulent transactions and unauthorized reuse of purchase tokens.
Request Server-Side Data Deletion
To request deletion of eligible Block Quest server-side information, contact NivAk Technologies using the email address below.
Use the subject: Block Quest Data Deletion Request
Because Block Quest uses anonymous authentication, we may need information reasonably necessary to locate the correct anonymous account or related purchase records.
If your request relates to a purchase, you may be asked for relevant Google Play order information or other transaction details needed to identify the purchase.
Data We Can Delete
Subject to verification, technical limitations and applicable legal requirements, a deletion request may include deletion of eligible Block Quest data controlled by NivAk Technologies.
This may include:
- The anonymous Firebase Authentication account
- Eligible player records associated with the Firebase UID
- Eligible server-side game or coin information
- Other Block Quest information that is no longer required
Deleting server-side account information may make previously associated game data or virtual balances unavailable.
Data That May Be Retained
Some information may need to be retained even after a deletion request where reasonably necessary or legally required.
This may include limited records required for:
- Purchase and transaction verification
- Preventing duplicate purchase credits
- Fraud prevention and security
- Chargebacks, refunds or transaction disputes
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims
Where retention is required, information will be retained only as appropriate for the relevant purpose and applicable requirements.
Google Play Purchase and Payment Records
Payments for Block Quest in-app purchases are processed through Google Play.
NivAk Technologies does not control your Google account, Google Play payment profile or Google's independent transaction records.
Deleting Block Quest data from NivAk Technologies' systems does not automatically delete purchase, payment or account records retained independently by Google.
Questions concerning Google Play payment records, refunds or Google account information should be handled through the appropriate Google Play or Google account controls.
